I shudder at his touch as he blows gently in my ear and places kisses on my neck. He lifts me up and throws me over his shoulder.
“What are you-”
Before I can finish those words, I am hovering over the ledge. My heart is heavy as I stare at the people below me; they appear as one uniform slug, a block party under the bridge.
“Let me go!” I say.
“As you wish.”
His hand releases from my thigh and I feel myself slipping. My body trembles as I close my eyes; tears roll down my face. The wind rushes through my lungs and my hair floats above my ears. He grabs me by the ankle as I let out a scream.
“Let me up okay. You’re crazy.”
